The Thai place on the corner across from work, the takeaway shop on his way home. They'd all started to recognize him and his schedule, or they'd recognize a late night delivery to the Institute before closing and know exactly what to put in.
Those are the sorts of people that it's easy to lose track of.
He wonders if they'll ever be all right after everything. Would they even remember any of it? His patron wasn't entirely forthcoming in the end, there, too preoccupied with its own machinations and then the Web.
She is right though, he can't see where she's looking or he'd be more self conscious about it. Only barely arrived and tasked with a massive clean up, he hasn't had the chance to find a new wardrobe.]
