[It's becoming readily apparent that Kazuma's current strategy is futile, it's true. At this point, Kazuma's using them for target practice, examining the way he's sliding into katas by muscle memory alone. Whoever he is, he knows what he's doing. It's at least some kind of clue.

At Norimune's approach, he twirls the stick in a finishing motion that feels far-too-familiar before "sheathing" it at his side. He pointedly does not look at Norimune's very cool katana which he is definitely not feeling envious about.]


Do you have any ideas? This way clearly isn't working.

[Not that he's been seriously looking for other strategies; once he'd gotten used to the sharks he'd had more important things on his mind, and had settled for only dispatching the ones that happened to get in his way.]
