Since it's a popular topic now, if he hung out and listened around for rumors (and maybe even got involved with promising conversations) would he hear anything about the Wasteland? Like, has anyone ever been out there before or heard of anyone who has? Does anyone have any idea what they're really getting into out there? Any ideas of what to expect?
