After a short huff of a chuckle, Shotaro pushes himself up to his feet, water unceremoniously pouring off of him as he stands there for a bit to let the majority of it drain off. "Definitely worse, but helping out a kid is always the best thing," he says, taking a few steps to the edge and stepping out before sitting on it.

"There's no stronger motivator in the world than the fear of letting down a kid that came to you for help," he adds, pulling his hat off to shake a bit of the water out of it.

"...candy's nice, though."
