Causing chaos, perhaps. People like us, if we’re new, then it’s harder for us to have a decent grasp of whatever situations are happening here. We can be told just about anything and given that we can’t just go right back home, we either work within whatever we’re given or potentially put ourselves in a difficult situation if we decide that we’re just going to break rules right out of the gate.

If the populace was willing to help, wouldn’t they have done so already? I don’t think this started happening just when we arrived. This has probably been going on for a while. I don’t see the harm in trying it out. Anything that doesn’t require an immediate fight is preferable to me.
