👹 MICHIKO / THE GEISHA.

michiko is from identity v, a 4v1 asym horror game that is basically coraline + dead by daylight. michiko is a hunter meaning she's a vengeful ghost. as a take on the ol' traditional tale of the japanese yurei, michiko is a woman done wrong, back from the dead and angry about it. despite this, she's rather motherly, sweet and melancholic most of the time. as dangerous as she is, she's a trained geisha and very adept at conversation, dance and music in general. she's skilled with a tessen, the japanese war fan, and loves poetry. ultimate wife material! too bad about the murderous tendencies

👹 DAVID / SOLID SNAKE.

what is there to say about solid snake. one of the primary characters of metal gear, he's an old war hero who has been trying to break out of the mold for years. he just wants to live his life peacefully with his fifty huskies (no joke), but snake can't let himself relax as long as war is on the horizon. he's dedicated his life to making the world a better place than he found it, even if he suffers greatly for it. snake is an annoying old fart. he loves his dogs, working with his hands, and is the kind of guy who thinks camping is awesome. he would take his kids on a fishing trip. emotionally awkward but genuine, he means well but has the mouth of a guy who doesn't. he's a hardened vet, used to fighting, and he's also a huge dork. snake is also a spy, but you probably know that already. anyway, look at the gif

👹 EDDIE MUNSON.

Eddie is a metalhead teen (he's 20) from a small town in Indiana where nothing bad ever happens, promise. He's also a bit of a nerd, and despite initial first impressions, has a big heart and likes to take other "freaks" (affectionate) under his wing. Thinking of taking him from the end of S4, which would be pretty jarring for him, but a way to take his character arc from the show and keep running with it.

so hermann is from that early 2010s cult-classic, mechas vs monsters flick, pacific rim. don't let his 'elderly man who looks like a 1950s english professor' appearance fool you, he's actually in his mid-30s. in his world, earth is being attacked by these big ass kaiju. and in order to combat them, humans created these even bigger robots that are piloted by two (or three) people. and hermann is your resident genius mathematician & engineer who helped with the first iteration of programming for the big beefy robots as well as half the brains for the operation that (potentially) puts a stop to the kaiju attacks. and he's also a royal pain in the ass. total neat freak. can't stand your loud rolling stones or your hot cheetos. he will complain to HR 99.9% of the time about his rowdy labmate. a total nerd. but underneath all that stuff tweed, polyester (and questionable haircut) he's a sweet dork that just wants to save the planet.

The original Lord of Calamity. Of course she was once a normal girl. Now she's a Therion that consumes and amasses malevolence. Beyond her primary goals of vengeance for the death of her brother, she lost any sort of direction she had for her life. All the more reason to introduce her to "life" after all that is supposed to be over right? As you might guess she's a... perfectly nice... totally well adjusted...... okay no she's blunt in her honesty, is out of touch with her social skills and tends to be abrasive. But underneath that there is in fact a softness that she hasn't completely lost touch with either.

👹 AN SHIRAISHI.

One of the female vocalists for a street style group called Vivid BAD SQUAD. The group was formed over a shared dream of surpassing one of the greatest music events in recent history... and it just so happens that her father was the one who put that show together. She's full of pride and has no shortage of spunk. She's easy-going and friendly yet honest and fiercely competitive. What she lacks in book smarts she makes up in sheer determination. Even when she's down, she's not out.

Badass demon hunter from Devil May Cry. To quote Dante "One of the two most badass women around", Lady doesn't take any crap and will gladly sass anyone. Especially Dante. She has shot him multiple times before... While not the friendliest person around, she is good for getting jobs done as long as her targets aren't human she'll take them on.

Human girl turned vengeful demon. She will do what she can to get her revenge on the one who killed her younger brother. While she might look normal, her left arm turns into a huge black and red claw, allowing her to eat other demons and creatures. Before she became a demon, she was a great older sister to her younger brother, but now she is very standoffish and will not hesitate to use others in her own plot for revenge. Despite her anger, there is still everyone's big sister in there.

luchino is from identity v, otherwise known as the muppet horror game. while there is another luchino, the hunter known as the evil reptilian, this is him before he went full on mutant. little more man, lot less lizard. while a courteous, polite enough gentleman who proves himself helpful and attentive, the ominous smiles he's got gives enough hints he may be a little...off. an overly enthusiastic herpetologist who didn't mind using himself as a subject, he's very interested in the origin of human evolution, and thus sees no problem with the fact he is alarmingly growing scales. honestly, if he's not worried about it, neither should you, right?

👹 LOUIS AMAMIYA.

louis is from code vein, a soulsborne-like game about the collapse of the world as we know it. he's one of the revenants, vampires born from parasites implanted in their dead bodies that revive them over and over in exchange for suffering from an nearly unending thirst for blood. everytime he dies, he forgets something else about his past, an unfortunate side effect of being near immortal. despite the circumstances, louis has proved himself to be mostly calm and compassionate towards both his fellow revenants and the humans stuck in the gaol with them. a good person at his core, louis suffers from intense feelings of guilt due to his part in their current circumstances amongst other things, and searches unendingly for the chance to make things right, for everybody involved.

👹 CHUUYA NAKAHARA.

Chuuya is from Bungo Stray Dogs, a series about supernatural detectives set in Yokohama, and the underworld and various organizations they clash with there. Chuuya himself is part of the latter: an executive of the Port Mafia, the criminal organization that calls Yokohama home. Needless to say, I think this setting could really suit him for that and several other reasons! He's short, loud, temperamental and will probably struggle a bit with the power nerfing given he's had his power roughly all his life, but that's part of the fun for me. Though he's a certainly a criminal with a talent for violence, Chuuya still has his own personal ethics, the greatest of which being he is loyal to a fault to the people he gets attached to, and the type of man who devotes himself utterly to the Mafia in canon: I'd really love to see how he rolls here, torn away from everything he knows.

actually i'm already enabled this is just giving you all a warning... HELLO I'M ASHU and i'll be new here and i'm tdming/apping akira fudou from the devilman franchise. i play him from the old 80's OVA renditions with 70's manga mixed in and his canon point will be during/after his battle with sirene. akira is a demon hybrid who melded with a powerful demon named amon but his virtuous and pure heart vanquished the demon within him and he was able to harvest the demon's body and powers all while keeping his own consciousness and human heart. he comes in both human flavor and monster flavor. that said, akira has a few new instincts he struggles with, such as craving violence, cannibalism, sex and fighting. however, he is a kind-hearted person who has promised to protect humanity and has a strong sense of justice. you can read more about him here. i write him exclusively off of the dub, so you won't want to miss it. i picked the gif that would display him acting how he will most of the time in this game: naked and throwing a tantrum.

i am already apping but alas lets go tokyo revengers is about this guy called takemichi who goes back in time 12 years prior to whatever day it is the future. he wants to prevent the murder of the girl he liked in middle school, who dies in gang-related accidents done by the tokyo manji - the biggest criminal organization in tokyo at the time, led by mikey. uh mikey is said gang leader. he's a little shit, very charismatic, very loyal, powerful and unbeatable shonen style. childish, bottles everything up, and also dissociates to oblivion and Does Some Shit. terrible memory, sleeps everywhere, and is spoiled to death. taking him from some early-ish canonpoint, so he won't be super okay, but you know what? it could definitely be worse.

You know sonic the hedgehog. He's that super fast, super cool 90s icon who loves freedom and adventure. Well, metal sonic is sonic if instead of freedom and adventure he loved beating up small animals and trying to defeat people in high stakes death races rather than a sincere love for healthy competition. He's the OG sonic look-a-like rival who instead of reforming in any way akin to Shadow he doubled down on being evil because of an existential crisis, at which point sega forgot he had a character and mandated "he shouldn't have a personality" in their never ending quest to drive me insane. I don't have too much in mind for him because I'm not even 100% sure if I'm gonna app but I do wanna take him between getting his ass kicked in Heroes and prior to being reprogrammed and just see what happens, basically. It's all too dependent on CR to know for sure.

Originally born in a village in England, Bridget is one of two biologically male twins. In her village twins of the same gender were viewed as being cursed so her parents raised Bridget as a girl in order to stave off the curse. Briget became a bounty hunter in order to prove herself as a person and make money to show she was capable in life. Bridget is a bounty hunter who wields an enormous yoyo and teddy bear while on the hunt for the various ridiculous characters who inhabit the Guilty Gear universe. She is apparently quite good at this. As of GG Strive's second DLC season, she had rejoined the cast, is far more sure of herself as a person, and now views herself as a girl(She/her). 👹 Lysandra K. Weiss Lysandra is a sub-species human from a world where the fracturing of the supernatural database that governs the development of biological life has resulted in monster/animal people becoming a regular occurrence. Lysandra herself is a bird-type human, better known as Harpys, from the year 2100. She is an oddity amongst harpys for not being able to fly, but makes up for it by being quite the runner.

Gwnedolyn is the (main) protagonist of Odin Sphere, a game inspired by Der Ring des Nibelungen, all about Odin and valkyries and magic and the end of the world. She's a very conflicted girl who wants to be the bravest, coolest soldier ever for her dad's approval (which if not for his impossibly high standards, she has earned several times over) but on the inside is a more gentle, kind person who doesn't like hurting others and just wants someone to love her. Her own personal plotline is about learning to love herself and then finding love from others as well, but I'm cruel so I literally never take her from that canon point because who wants closed character arcs really.

The newest "Tales Of" himbo who gets kind of volun-told into leading a revolution against local oppression. Has a sword that's on fire*, zero ability to feel pain, and exactly one braincell. Enjoys fighting things, spicy food**, camping/outdoorsy things, and unintentionally adopting younger siblings. He's a pretty good-natured person who gets along with a variety of different kinds of people and just happens to solve political problems through murder. I'm much stronger on characterization for him, but a little less certain about fit. *only it's not if he's a LCW, it's complicated, He's Fine **do not eat his food, i repeat, DO NOT eat his food unless you want to die and/or melt your insides

On the opposite end of the spectrum is this garbage person, Dark from DNAngel, who is one half of a magical art piece* and appears for maybe a few years every few decades as part of a generational curse for a family of career art thieves. He steals shit, he flirts, and this would be the first time in his literal centuries-long life** where he has his own body, so uh...I apologize in advance. For him. I feel much better about his fit within the game, but I haven't actually played him past a couple of memes/top-levels, so this would be a new character, and y'know, that's always a gamble. *this is the tl;dr version **I continue to have a type and that type is "characters who are centuries old and look like teenagers"

Deputy of the Arataki Gang and jack-of-all-trades, Shinobu seems like the ideal employee with her multiple certificates. How many? Too many to list on her business card. Despite her talents and receiving numerous offers for many lucrative, stable jobs, she always declined them to stay with the Arataki Gang and to maintain her freedom of life. But she will offer her services on a temporary contractual basis. In Jigoku, I imagine she would work towards building up her certificates (all her hard work... not recognised in another world, who knew?) again and avoid being stuck in one job for too long. She can work in any factions, but would strongly prefer not being in Department of the Enma because the culture isn't her vibes. She can work without her Vision for a while, but regaining it would let her heal people with electricity.

McGillis Fareed of Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans fame is my strong consideration for a second character here! Sad street rat child turned adoptive heir to an influential family in a massive military organization that oversees all world governments, McGillis is a survivor and schemer. He has some grand ideas about how the world is corrupt and should be fixed, but unfortunately his idea of an equal opportunity world is a total power-based meritocracy so we probably shouldn't listen to him too much. He's a charming high society man on the outside, but he has some real fondness for underdogs from bad situations because... well, duh, he relates. He likes sweets a lot and always carries chocolate on his person. I can honestly see him easily fit in with every single faction here so he's a total wild-card for where he might end up, which is really exciting.

The "old man" from Tales of Arise; a former lord who left his post to pursuit the end of the Crown Contest with the ragtag main party. He has a veneer of perfection and control to hide his tragic past (a Tales character with a tragic past say it ain't so), well spoken (though he does tend to go on verbal tangents more often than not) and a natural, benevolent leader who's ideals are different than that if his race and cultural upbringing. Realistically, he's a sad man who's had sad things happen to him, but he's also a (really bad) poet and art connoisseur, who also appreciates history and historical artifacts to a near obsessive level, but his passion truly lies in music. Just don't ask him about it, though. ;) Also don't be surprised if he jumps off any cliffs if he's 90% sure it's safe. Really, when he's comfortable enough with someone, he turns into a real gremlin.

Kim Wexler didn't grow up with much, but she's always been willing to do whatever it takes to get where she wants to be, even if it means sacrifice. That work ethic has gotten her far –– a full ride through law school, professional accolades, and a future with a husband she would kill for. She wants to open a clinic so disadvantaged people can have world-class legal defence at no cost. Ambition comes easy; she loves the law, after all. But she's also someone who thinks she can put her finger on the scale of justice. She thinks it's a good thing. Disadvantaged people not going to prison, putting checks on cops who want to take out grudges on others, taking assholes down a peg, that kind of thing. Is what she does illegal? Sometimes, technically, but you'd have to catch her to do something about it. It's a slippery slope, and she's terrified of getting caught, but the rush of being a con artist is just as much fun as winning court cases. Who cares if someone's life gets ruined? It's for the Right Reasons™. Kim is from Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad, so you can imagine where that goes. (It's cartel shit. Oops!) I'd like her to continue sliding down that slope and face some serious internal ethical dilemmas over the things she's willing to do to get what she wants. Go nuts, Kim. Take advantage.

The first thing you need to know about Gideon is that 99% of her life turned into huge spoilers. But I'll keep this first bit sans major spoilers. GIDEON IS A BIG BEEFY LADY HIMBO USELESS LESBIAN SWORD WIELDING SMART MOUTHED IDIOT. Did I mention useless lesbian bc for real. Useless. And she likes boobs and porn and things that do NOT entail anyone dying or the end of the fucking universe or frankly people dying because of the end of the universe because. You know. That shit's not cool. The titular character of the first Locked Tomb novel is a riot and a half, strong, capable, but definitely a fucking himbo, my god. Her world is full of necromancy gone off the rails but she's just a party to it all who would rather be partying than dealing with a living nightmare. Too bad that's not how things work when you're a Cavalier! NOW BRING HER EVERY HOT TAMAMO LADY!!!! Read no further if you don't want spoilers for the first two Locked Tomb books! Basically, Gideon now pulls half-time duty as conscience and controller of someone else when shit gets real (sorta). But that won't matter here other than the fact that she'll be worried about the person she left behind juuuuust a bit. Universe-ending shit went down, no big!

👹 Tsunayoshi Sawada

Hello! This is Tsunayoshi Sawada from Katekyou Hitman Reborn! KHR is a shonen manga from the late 2000s that follows in the grand tradition of shone manga of basically being Let's be Mafia without actually being Mafia! It started life as a gag manga before transitioning into a battle manga but still managed to be absolutely ridiculous throughout. Tsuna is the series hapless protagonist. He starts out as a loser, no good at sports or school, clumsy and generally on the bottom rung of the ladder. That changes when a two-year-old hitman shows up and reveals that Tsuna is the next line to run the Vongola mafia family. Once again, this started life as a gag manga. Needless to say, things spiral from there. Tsuna is usually reluctant to act at first and is often the straight man to the chaos happening around him. He didn't ask for the chaos, it just follows him home. I'd be looking at bringing in Tsuna from post-series, and would love to play with his mafia roots and the fact that he's actually a pretty good leader when push comes to shove. (If the image shows, it's Tsuna being cool and is somewhat false advertising)
