aaaaaa thank you so much!!!! he's been someone i've wanted to play for years but the average jamjar just can't accommodate him fresh out the gate because he's like...a horrible little dude, but the whole faction/contract element to JGK has effectively been a leash on an angry little dog that's made it super easy for me to have him engage with things. its why ive been tagging around so much LMAO i got a lot of robot hedgehog stuck in my brain

I tagged Metal Sonic on a whim and I'm so glad I did, because the way you play him is an utter delight and "I-am-a-sociopathic-weapon bonding" is the CR I didn't know I needed until it happened

as an aside i hope you dont mind ive been hitting a point at our threads and then gone "yeah let's wrap it up" these two are just so to the point + w/ the context of their threads there isn't a lot of room for the usual kind of thread that can meander for really long. i hope one day they can just have a thread like that though!! i wanna see where this cr goes given their weird everything

purely headcanon but given his a.i chip literally evolved sentience im taking that fact to say that the more exposed to difficult conversations like their current one the more he'll become like.....i say "human" but i dont mean it literally, but actually a person? right now he's kind of a person wrapped in a blanket of murderous code. so kojirou is literally helping him even if he doesn't like kojirou. keep it up

as an aside we've known each other for so long what can i say? i love skii, i love kooj. i love skooj. i admire the work you put into him and i always have because i get having that really specific character who doesn't get a lot in canon but there's just enough you feel drawn to them and want to expand on that in rp in ways canon hasnt. we've tagged him against a bunch of my characters and i can safely say ive never had a dull thread with you around man

THANK YOU!!! i am totally canonblind i wont even try to lie, but their little back and forth has been really fun to me. i said to my friend the more metal is exposed to "difficult" conversations like the one he's having with sannan the more he'll grow as a person because his ai is limited to what he's experienced and he hasn't experienced........a whole lot outside of trying to murder a guy

so thanks for helping him mature even a tiny bit sannan you a real one

me too!! i particularly am looking forward to how the a.i aspect works out because he doesn't really believe machines/ais are superior to organics by default, but he also uses the fact he's an a.i to distance himself a bit from his behaviour if that makes sense? like "oh of course all the stupid FLESH PEOPLE dont like me just because i do a little MURDER im just built different" so the fact monika is more human than him in a lot of ways

Metal Sonic is incredibly compelling. He and Kisara may not be on the same side in a manner of different ways, but I think he's so interesting and I'm very intrigued to see what he gets up to.

thank you!! he's complicated, he's weighing his existential crisis and his coding and his desire to fulfill the enma contract all against each other so even i don't know how his arc is gonna end up. it's the most fluid a character's potential path has been in a game for me since.....forever!

ive really enjoyed tagging kisara too, i have never played a tales game in my life but in the run up to arise when i saw her i was like.......am i really gonna buy a game for one video game girl. the answer is probably still yes (eventually) but she's 100% my type and your playing her has only doubly convinced me of that

as an aside you got tagged by a sonic of the non-metal variety a month or two ago on a tdm for a different game and i just wanna say that was also me.........sorry for inflicting nothing but hedgehogs on this poor girl

They have such a complicated dynamic that really tests Kisara's ability to be understanding, which she very much is, but even she has a limit to what she's willing to be diplomatic over. She can be a little too stern and firm on what she believes in, which to her credit, is a boon, but can definitely be off-putting for others who don't agree with her.

I'm delighted to know she's striking some good notes. I also think I remember that! (Pretty sure that was Incensed, because I don't think I've touched a lot of TDMs with her. In which case, it's lovely to be playing with you [again]!
